I need recipes for healthy, fat-free, low cal and/or low carb desserts?

sweetaimers21 asked:

Im trying to eat better and my problem is my sweet tooth. I love desserts and I can not live without them. Any diet that requires me to cut them out, I fail after the first day. So got any recipes for desserts that will work with a healthy diet? Im not on anything specific… Im just cutting out as much fat and sugar as I can and trying to lower calories.

    Losing weight without starving yourself

    Ingredients :

    1 1/2 x Bananas
    1/2 cup Applesauce
    ts Vanilla
1/2 cup Brown sugar (or honey or brown rice syrup)

    Method :
Sift together: 1 scant cup of Whole wheat flour 1.5 tsp baking powder dash salt 1 tsp cinnamon dash nutmeg 1-2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional- really taste good, and add protein for you vegans)
Blend wet ingredients in blender. mix dry and wet. Stir in 3/4 c. oatmeal
(the regular cereal type) stir in 2 tbsp raisins (optional but delicious)
Drop by generous spoonfuls onto cooking-sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 20-30 min or until just browning. (without the oil they take longer to bake than you think!… check them though after 15 min to see how they are doing)
    TA DA!!!
This recipe has worked very nicely for me twice.
    Peace,

    Me too.

I make my own puddings and love vanilla.

Try sugar free and low fat milk , can’t do the skim….yuck..
take two large packs and make them at one time. I purchased these little round containers that are stackable and some square ones too. Let your pudding stand just for a bit them pour them into each.
Now , here comes what I love , take a half a bananna and a teaspoon full of low-fat cool whip and tell me you haven’t gone to Heaven.
Then try tapacia pudding using splenda sugar and low fat milk, I love to bet the egg whites and add an extra egg. and then the splends and white imitation vanilla . again put them into the containers and when it comes to eating add a touch of the same cool whip. Having these all ready when you have that urge, goodness ,
try some fresh berries and sprinkle some splenda on them , again the little containers and add a dash of low fat cool whip.

How about some home made soups that you can do easily.

Buy boneless, skinless chicken breast and cook them slowly in the two tops on the onions you get , and the tops of celery. .
When the 40 min. are over skim the things off and throw away the onion tops and celery tops ,
buy 1 lg. can of low sodium cr of chicken
    “”"”"2 sm. “”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”celery,
    “”"”"1″”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”"”onion,
add to the chicken broth you just made and a little water too, not too much cut chicken into small dicy pieces and put them into base. Get Inn Maid very small noodles and put them into a large pan boiling when done put into soup. It needs nothing, but to eat it up.
Try home made veg . soup. A Must..very lean english roast and soup bones

2 large cans of tomato sauce, 2 tablesspoons of Thyme Leaves tiny (this makes the flavor) Cook for three hours on med, it has to be very tender and cooled.
I always use fresh vegs . and put in just about everything, my dad was a cook at the firedept and Captain too. I add Mrs.Dash Salt . I also put an onion in it and take it out when finished. I love barley in mine and I put it in at 15 min. before done. but I know you are watching your weight.

Try instant sugar free jello, and use the old parfay dessert cups and I love strawberry flavor and put it into the cups on a slant when its done and pace low cal cool whip and a strawberry on the top. Any flavor will work.
Just be sure you take time out one or two days her and there to do all this and have days of enjoyment with the low cal treats and love the weight your losing. good luck.
