Has anyone else changed your diet due to the abuse video?

mybad asked:

I have stopped eating beef, lamb, pork, and chicken because of the abuse video out this week. I still eat fish. This guy did it too:

Has anyone else stopped eating beef/meat because of this?

    Metabolism and Your Weight

this is your private life but i think it would better if u go back to a moderate version of ur old diet, these exotic kind of strategies are not trust worthy
moderation is the mother of good health and not what X or W does…

    No, I have not.

I saw the video in question. I have seen many videos of slaughter house operations. None of them are very pretty, and there really isn’t too much difference in this new one and all of those others.

Good luck to you in your diet change. I don’t plan to change mine just yet.

I have indeed stopped eating beef and probably won’t ever eat it again. It absolutely broke my heart. A person does not need beef to survive and it will never be served in my home again.

    How to Lose Weight

I also was disgusted by the situation at the slaughter house…the government inspectors had to know what was going on…why is nothing more being done about that???now…give this some thought……most fish we buy now comes from china where it is raised in unclean conditions and fed antibiotics that have been banned in America. Chicken without a doubt is the dirtiest animal alive without people adding to the problems…bu t they also go thru slaughter houses…..veggies are full of e colie germs from the Mexicans using the bathroom in the middle of picking it….so….my point…. unless we grow and harvest our own i don’t see how to stay away from the nasties

    Need to lose weight?

There’s no point in avoiding beef. Sick animals have been in the food supply for awhile now, and the effects will not reach the population for a decade or so. In the meantime they sure taste good.
