Can you really eat dark chocolate on a diet?

I read from a blog that you can eat dark chocolate on a diet because of the antioxidents in it……I know that you can’t eat a alot because it has sugar in it.I also read that it is a Superfood.

Is this true??

    Well, of course, just like any other food when your on a diet, you cannot eat too much of it, but yes, it is healthier than milk chocolate. It is healthy for your body for a few reasons. I am sure if you google something like ‘dark chocolate healthy’ you will find tons of links!

    Yes Katherine, you can eat dark chocolate. The higher the % in cocoa the better. Just buy a big bar and have 2 – 3 pieces every other day or when ever your craving calls for it.

    something that is “healthy” is not neccessarily good for attaining your specific dietary goals. if your goal is weight loss, you can get just as many antioxidants from fruits and vegetables for far less calories. yes, it is true that dark chocolate is a superfood, but many superfoods still make you fat.

    Well from what I heard is that dark chocolate is way more healthy than the milk! This is because milk chocolate has more sugar but yes you can eat dark chocolate on a diet but I would eat maybe one chocolate bar every once in a while!
