Is 100 grams of carbs too much for someone with insulin resistance and pcos?

JessSR asked:

I have been doing lower carb and have had some weight loss success, but i’d like to make my diet more sustainable and up my carbs a little. the problem is that i sort of am afraid of upping my carbs because it might cause weight gain. I am eating between 1700 and 1900 calories a day and i burn 2200-2500 calories a day depending on whether I exercise or not

    Metabolism and Your Weight

You don’t say how many carbs a day you have been eating, but if you want to increase them, do it gradually, like 10 grams a day more and if your weight starts to increase you will know you have added too many. Don’t forget that if you increase your carbs you will have to decrease either fats or protein to get the same calories.

    good luck..
