Hi is it possible to live off of fruit only?

Before you go exclusively with one thing you need to figure out what type of food YOUR particular body type needs. If you are a Vata (Indian Medicine) or you have a Damp conditon (Chinese) You need to stay away from Yin (Chinese) type foods or you will starve yourself because your body will not be able to break down the nutrients without protein. Your body is made up of mostlty water but also proteins. Nuts are raw protien unless they are roasted which is not great. Eating all raw is okay if you can make it tasty and enjoyable. But Without the pleasure enzymes are not really being created. A frutarian could only survive AND possibly thrive in a very hot climate if they are Kapha or possibly pitta, that is what I think anyway. It wont kill you to try but a little bit of everything IS the spice of life and is balancing. Its excess of anything that is bad. Have you seen whaat fruitarians look like. They are frail.

You should take a multi vitamin and try to find protein from an alternative source.Tofu,while not exactly fruit,is good for protein.Nuts and seeds are another source.You’re also forgetting fruit has natural sugars in it and consuming mass amounts of even unrefined sugar can throw a person’s system off.There is also such a thing as good cholesterol, which is very important for your heart.I’m sure you could live on fruit, but it honestly would not be practical,or healthy.As for God’s intent,if He didn’t want us to eat meat,He wouldn’t have made us with the enzymes to digest it and the proper teeth with which to chew it.

Not just fruit, you will have to eat nuts and things like that so you can get protine. Other wise you will totally loss your energy. I have tried it to loss wieght. Make sure you eat more than 3 times a day because natural food digests very easily…so 6 times a day is good!!
