Is eating less fat than recommended healthy?

sidrodellamela asked:

I am 19 and trying to work on improving muscle definition and was wondering: If I simply cut out most fat from my diet and focus on getting those calories from somewhere else, will it damage my body or my metabolism in any way? I want to lose fat as efficiently as possible, without hurting my body.

    Fastest Way to Lose Weight

its not healthy to do that!!
you need fat, just dont eat the bad fats!! no saturated fat, and no trans fat!

but you need healthy fat, like the kind in tree nuts and olive oil. if you cut out all the fat, you will feel horrible.

Your body needs fat. It’s healthy to stick to a low fat diet, but some fat is necessary to stay healthy. Weight watchers is a great diet because it doesn’t deprive you of anything you need and focuses on portion control which will help you lose weight. You can even do the diet online.

You can’t be healthy without heart healthy fats. You should get 15-30% fats, 45-65% carbs, and 15-30% protein. You cannot lose weight quickly, its a long term process…a life style change. Have healthy fats like nuts, avacado, and olive oil.
